Every year on 15th August, the grounds of Raghav Public School resonate with the sounds of the national anthem, patriotic songs and the proud beating of drums as our school community comes together to celebrate India's Independence Day. The tri-colour flag is hoisted with great ceremony at both our Baldeyan and Ghaini campuses, followed by a programme that fills every heart with pride.
Students dressed in the colours of the national flag — saffron, white and green — perform march-past, dance to patriotic songs, deliver powerful speeches about freedom fighters and recite inspiring poems. Teachers and the school's Chairperson address the gathering with messages of national pride, unity and the responsibility each student carries as a future citizen of India.
Independence Day at Raghav Public School is more than a ceremony — it is a living lesson in civic pride, national history and the values of freedom, equality and democracy that our great nation was built upon.

The national flag is hoisted by the Chairperson or Principal in a solemn ceremony attended by all students, staff and parents. The national anthem is sung with full pride and respect.
Patriotic songs, classical dances, folk performances, skits on freedom fighters and recitation of poetry by students of all classes make the event vibrant and deeply moving.
A disciplined march-past by students in uniform is one of the most stirring highlights. Special prizes are given for the best performances, encouraging patriotic participation.
